NEW POLICIES AND PROCEDURES TO KEEP YOU SAFE
To keep all dancers and teachers safe and healthy during this time,
we have implemented the following rules and procedures
·Only dancers & S1 staff will be allowed in the building and everyone entering the building must wear a mask/face covering. For parents of younger dancers, please help them into their dance shoes before sending them into the studio.
·There will be no access to the kitchen/fridge/micro so please make sure to bring a water bottle.
·Only one person will be allowed in the bathroom at a time.
·All high touch surfaces will be cleaned at the end of each day and in between the classes.
·Teachers will be reminding dancers through out class to social distance from other dancers.
·Dancers will be assigned a “spot” in their dance studio. This is where they need to store their bag during class and sit during breaks to maintain social distancing.
·Dancers will be spaced out on the dance floor to maintain at least 6 feet distance from other dancers.
·A daily symptom check will be done at drop off.
Per Oregon Health Authority guidelines for summers camps,
dancers MAY NOT come to class if
There has been a known exposure to Covid-19 within the preceding 14 days.
They, or a member of their household, has a fever or new cough. They should not return to class for at least 10 days after illness onset and until 72 hours after fever is gone, without the use of fever reducing medicine, and Covid-19 symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath and diarrhea) are improving.
WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS
·A mask or face covering MUST be worn by all dancers at drop off and pick up when they enter/exit the studio. It is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED that dancers wear their mask DURING class as recommended by the CDC and Oregon Health Authority. We have heard the disposable masks are easier to breath through than reusable cloth masks.
·Water bottle and Dance bag to hold ALL shoes/clothes (please bring only what is necessary and can fit in your bag)
